Day One, Monday
We had a quick and easy flight from San Diego to San Jose via PHX. The shuttle ride from the airport to Cabo San Lucas provided an overview of the area. We stopped at several resorts along the way. We accidentally picked the best area to stay, across the street from the harbor, and right on the ocean. Lots to do, all within walking distance.
The Sandos Finisterra resort was awesome! Surprisingly, the beach isn’t swim-able though, the waves are really intense. Sadly, little puffer fish get caught in the surf and sent high on the beach where they can’t recover. 🙁
We walked on the beach and enjoyed our first of many beautiful sunsets.
Day Two, Tuesday
Explored the harbor and resort more.
Day Three, Wednesday
Went for a sail & snorkeled on a 42′ monohull. Also met new friends, Cory & Trina, at the White party on the beach that night. Another beautiful sunset.
Day Four, Thursday
Went scuba diving! Was a little freaky at first, but super fun after you get the hang of it. I couldn’t pop my ears below 20′ so had to stay at that level. Kelley went down to 40′.
Day Four, Friday
We had a dophin encounter where we got to swim with them!
Day Six, Saturday
Found relief from the persistent heat near the pool. Later, went on a sunset sail, it was really exciting!
Last Day, Sunday
Just relaxed and hung around the hotel until the shuttle came to pick us up.
